Errata

Morning weigh-in: 173#, 13% BF

An Observation: I had a lot of problems the other day at Round Valley, mostly in the technical stuff and especially at the beginning, but when I got to the Anaerobic Detour climb I went right up it, like "why was this ever a problem?" (That may be an exaggeration.) I may have not been warmed up or whatever, or maybe not used to the rocks yet, but I think that this ride, plus my performance last Friday, at Sals on the greasy rocks, tells me where I should put the training emphasis over the final two months...

New Photos: I posted a few more the other night, mostly my "keepers" from the wedding. Go check them out! I will have more, from Sunday's "Borscht and Natasha" soiree for Ben.

Wow, A First: Playing with that MTO program, I decided to add some parts to it. I added a bunch of stuff, maybe an hour's worth of coding over the past week, then last night I put some finishing touches on and -- the damn thing compiled, and ran correctly, on the first try! I take what triumphs I can get...

We stayed in last night, and feasted on pork & sauerkraut. Budget concerns, weight concerns, and a butt-whipping at yoga made that one a no-brainer for me, but Anne's also still fighting that cold -- I am too, but she really got hit a lot harder -- and she had an early morning trip to Philly on the agenda. She and Emmi were NetFlixxing their way through a season of "Monk," Ben and Dan were having a college-style bull session on the porch, and I was stationed at my laptop.

Tonight is the gym, followed (maybe) by a walk down Main Street to check out the "Tunes At Twilight" concert, starring Dan DeChellis. Tomorrow I have off, but it's supposed to be rainy.

Did A get cold checked out; it's lingering.
R & R is in order. "Monk" should help!
The wedding pix were terrific.
Very diff wedding in Nature from down here (except for one I went to long ago of co worker at BCC. It also was outdoors in nature with violinist and great food in Judi's "Judi Miles Beach" house. She was a writer/poet & remarried, moved to Maine, started Writers Bloc, was widowed & I found out on Amazon while checking comments of her book, that she died.) I felt so sad- she was a bright spirit to me.
The bride, Erika, looks absolutely sweet & beautiful & young groom so handsome-like a fairy tale.
A.'s cake was so impressive, so lovingly done. The decorations were so delicate with all diff colored roses etc. I liked the top heart shaped layer. A happy cake!
She & Judy must be close friends.
My one glimpse of A showed lovely dress, earrings etc.
I hope you all had great time.
I gather we won't be seeing you too soon, but we'll be in touch- maybe when Tara coordinates a barbecue that she & Chris want to have.
We're off to cousin Debbie's for 2 grads Danny from Rowen College & Chris from St John Vianney.
Tomorrow is Claire's wedding shower in Red Bank at Oyster Creek Hotel...fancy! Nice fiance, Tim Lough from Maine (but both work on Wall St) They live in Hoboken now.
Maura is seeing Tim ? for quite a while now too.
Ahh , spring is here and new beginnings abound!
BTW am I too old to restart bike riding around my community?
A neighbor is selling a new bike his wife never used.
Chis, Dad say I'm too clumsy and might fall incurring yet more big medical bills.
Last fall cost $4K for new top teeth!
I love being outdoors.
I'll think on it. If bike is a very good height for me, I wouldn't be nervous.
I need to be able to reach ground with a foot while seated to catch balance if I get unsteady.
PS I won $71 in 50/50 at Women's Club Mtg- I must have spent it 5X!
